SAT Subject Tests

SAT subject tests are not always required by universities but a lot of times they are highly recommended. If you are planning to major in STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Math) and applying to a UC, I highly recommend that you take the SAT Subject for Math and Science. You can take up to three exams in one sitting. Your Fee Waiver will cover your exam.

For math, there are two levels: Math Level I and Math Level II
Math Level I: If you have taken Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II also known as Integrated Math I, Integrated Math II and Integrated Math III
Math Level II: If you have taken Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II also known as Integrated Math I, Integrated Math II and Integrated Math III AND Pre-Calculus.

For Science, I recommend taking your latest science class.

To study for the SAT subject, visit College Board, here.  You will find practice tests and more information.
